Today I had the courage to start up my laptop again.
It was a false alarm.
Praise this (almost) 5 year old Macbook.
Unconditional love for this oldie.
Going strong since 25 august 2010.
(How do I know? Well first thing I did was taking a picture with photo booth, duh. With the picture, the date.)
Etcetera. Etcetera. Etcetera.
My month of unlimited yoga classes has come to an end (well for a while now but I’m late posting this). It’s been a journey of trying new classes, seeing new people and feeling parts of muscles in my body I’ve never felt before… Let’s make a summary!
If you’re an all year runner like me you must be really happy it’s almost spring. The weather is getting better each and every day! Also if you’re recently picking up on your running activities because of the better forecasts, a good weather runner as they call it, good for you! You’re getting active again. Can’t blame you, I certainly had to struggle more than a few times during those cold days to get my (freezing) butt moving. A blanket and some hot coco or tea seemed more appealing many times… but those treats felt better as a reward after a soaky run in the rain, a chilly run or after a run where the wind just blew you away. Feelin’ bad ass.
Anyhow, as the temperatures are rising… you’re probably wondering what to wear?
Do you celebrate Valentines day? I don’t. But I don’t mind if other people do. I have no special hate to it. Just interesting to see people behave peculiar in name of ‘love’. Trying to be ‘hopelessly’ romantic. These attempts shown on any medium make me cringe. Well in words and illustrated not that much.
I had this pre Monday blues vibe on Sunday. I even didn’t run. Body said no. And sometimes I just give in. I needed a break, my legs felt heavy. I felt my muscles had to adapt to these twice a week yoga sessions and I just fell asleep after lunch. No biggie right?
This blog was kind of an impulsive thing I did. I started it, had a name (a misspelling of my name :P), and bought the domain.
Started many blogs. Never bought a domain name before.
I felt this urge to do something with my free time, my drawings, and some of the rants I have. Honestly, I keep those rants down. Except for this one ;).
Nice to know there are people visiting this blog and leaving comments!
Gracias/Dankje/Merci/Obrigado/Danke (let’s do this international) :).
Today, right at this moment, I just commenced my course ‘Introduction to Yoga’. A two hour course focused on the basics of practicing Yoga, including unlimited classes for the next four weeks. I got this for Christmas because I really need to practice more Yoga for my posture. I have very bad posture (while I’m typing this, I have the laptop on the couch, the right side of my leg and hip on the floor and my head resting on my right arm… yes I’m typing this in a vertical point of view. See.). But, I’m not a total newbie to yoga, to be honest…
Is running one of your resolutions for 2015? Still haven’t started? No biggie, we’re in the second week of January. You can start whenever you want. Why start specifically in January if you also have February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November aaaand December? Anyhow, if you want to get started and don’t know how: I’ll tell you how I got started (for the record, after many attempts, it all started from July 2011 and on).
I decided to make a Facebook page so friends, family and others interested in following my blog without WordPress can follow me.
Here it is :).
It’s the last day of 2014. Time flies by so fast! If I look back now I think 2014 was a year full of new experiences, sharing good times with friends and many sun hours. Sun, always a good thing.
